"Greenwich resident Gary Silberberg does such a great job organizing these drives and he continues to have my appreciation for doing so," Camillo said. "He told me that his previous blood drive in April was very successful but with the need continuing, Greenwich residents are being asked to step up again. Summer is traditionally a time when blood donations taper off because people are away, so the more supply is built up now, the better it is for everyone."
