Connecticut TV News Couple Head West To California
The married TV news personalities met as reporters in Springfield, MA.
NBC Connecticut's Alessandra Martinez and WFSB's David McKay, who have been married since the summer of 2018, are leaving their respective Connecticut news jobs for sunny California, according to the couple.
"Today is my last day @WFSBnews," McKay wrote Tuesday on Twitter. "Thank you #Connecticut for allowing me to share your stories. It's been a dream to be on air since I was a boy. Now I'm off to chase another dream and ride West into the sunset with my wife."
Martinez, a Cali native, and McKay met in 2015 as reporters in Springfield, MA before trekking down Route 91 south to Hartford stations.
