Construction 'Nearly Complete' On Greenwich Point Causeway
The causeway has reopened for regular foot and vehicle traffic, the town said Thursday.

GREENWICH, CT — The Town of Greenwich announced on Thursday that the Greenwich Point Causeway construction is "nearly complete." The stretch has reopened for regular foot and vehicle traffic, the town said on Facebook Thursday afternoon.
The causeway was closed for several months and vehicle traffic was limited to the weekends. The northeast seawall was reinforced in order to reduce or eliminate the sink holes in the pavement and help secure the structure and increase longevity.
The town said the causeway will be closed for a couple of weekdays in early to mid-April. If possible, advanced notice will be given.
