Contribute To The 2024 Greenwich Coat Drive

Community members are invited to donate new or gently used children and adult winter coats to help those in need.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Board of Human Services, in collaboration with the Greenwich Department of Human Services Fund, has announced the launch of the 2024 Greenwich Coat Drive.

Community members are invited to donate new or gently used children and adult winter coats to help those in need during the colder months.

The drop-off period runs through Nov. 1 at the following locations:

  • Greenwich Library: 101 West Putnam Ave.
  • Greenwich Skating Club: 9 Cardinal Road
  • Greenwich Town Hall Lobby: 101 Field Point Road
  • Perrot Library: 90 Sound Shore Avenue
  • YMCA: 50 E Putnam Avenue

You can also donate a coat from an Amazon Wish List.

Coat donations will be distributed to individuals and families in the Greenwich community on the following days:

  • Nov. 14: Distribution for Greenwich Department of Human Services clients only
  • Nov. 15: Open to the public
  • Coat distribution hours: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Coat distribution location: Greenwich Town Hall, 3rd floor, Hayton and Evaristo Room
