Cos Cob May Fair Returns For 2022

GREENWICH, CT — After a two-year hiatus, the Cos Cob May Fair is back for 2022.

On May 20 and May 21 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. the Cos Cob May Fair at Cos Cob School will be bringing loads of fun to the surrounding community. Attendees can enjoy fun rides, games, food and live music at this annual event.

"We are thrilled to bring back the May Fair after missing it these past two years," said fair co-chair Michele Prisinzano in a news release. "The event will have the same amazing food as always, like pizza fritta, and we’ve only made some minor changes like ride bracelets per night, as opposed to tickets."

In addition to popular pizza fritta, there will be Scarpelli's sausage, burgers, dogs, chili and more. Cotton candy, candy apples and even baked goods will be for sale as well.

All the typical May Fair rides from the super slide to the ferris wheel, kids spinning teacups to a fun house have already arrived at the Cos Cob School field, ready for set-up on Friday. This year there will be a dunk tank sponsored by Cos Cob Sports Camp.

The May Fair is located in the back of Cos Cob School at 300 E Putnam Ave. Parking can be found around the school as well as at Cos Cob Library and behind Cos Cob Fire Station. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cos Cob School PTA and programming for their students.

The rain date for the event is Sunday, May 22, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
