Cos Cob Resident Wins Over $124K: CT Lottery

GREENWICH, CT — A Cos Cob resident recently hit it big thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $124,907 after playing for a $5 Fast Play Progressive jackpot.

Fast Play games play like instant scratch games but are printed on-demand from a CT Lottery retailer’s terminal or a CT Lottery ticket vending machine, the CT Lottery says on its website.

Fast Play Progressive jackpots begin with a set minimum value, the CT Lottery says.

Once the minimum jackpot is funded, it grows with each ticket sold statewide until someone wins. The progressive jackpot then resets to the minimum value and grows again.

A $1 ticket wins 20 percent of the progressive jackpot; a $2 ticket wins 40 percent and a $5 ticket wins 100 percent.

The game was played at the Old Greenwich BP gas station at 1324 E Putnam Ave.
