GREENWICH, CT — Three New York men accused of shoplifting in Cos Cob were arrested Saturday after officers spotted the men riding in the area in a 2011 Nissan, according to police. The vehicle's registration was expired, and the driver, Rashawn Malik, 21, of Brooklyn, N.Y., did not have a driver's license, according to police.

Police said "proceeds from the shoplifting," as well as some marijuana, were found in the vehicle by officers.

Malik was charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, illegal possession, operating a motor vehicle without a license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Hamed Jay Myrthil Pierre, 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Keone Germain, 23, of New York, N.Y., were each charged with sixth-degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance.
