Lazlo has embraced a farm-to-table mentality throughout his career as a chef. All ingredients at The Country Table are sourced from regional farms in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and offerings will change depending on the season, although a core of about 12 curated sandwiches — or "unique takes on classics" as Lazlo describes them — will be staple items.
Breakfast sandwiches include traditional fare, but the breakfast burrito is unique: three scrambled eggs, chorizo, shredded cheddar, salsa, black beans and avocado wrapped in a flour tortilla.
For bagel and smoked salmon lovers, look no further than the Delancey Street: everything bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato, pickled red onions and capers.
There is also the Bee Pollen Granola, which includes rolled oats, honey, almonds, flax seeds, chia seeds and coconut oil.
One of the specialty lunch sandwiches includes the 'Wich Came First: fried chicken, deviled egg spread and pickled onions on a potato brioche roll.
There is also a Country Table take on the Muffuletta sandwich: salami, mortadella, capicola, fontina cheese, olive salad, peppadew peppers and baby arugula on semolina round loaf.
Prepared foods currently include meatloaf, meatballs or whole roasted chicken, among others.
