I-95 Reopens After Serious Crash With Injuries In Greenwich: State Police
A section of I-95 in Greenwich was closed for several hours Monday night.
GREENWICH, CT — Interstate-95 southbound near exit 3 in Greenwich has reopened following a lengthy closure Monday night due to a motor vehicle crash, according to the Connecticut State Police.
The stretch of highway near exit 3 and the exit 3 on-ramp was closed for several hours after a rollover crash caused serious injuries, state police said. The closure was first reported by police at 5:33 p.m.. The highway reopened a little before 11 p.m.
Motorists were encouraged by Greenwich police to avoid the area, seek alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Police also cautioned heavy traffic on local roads.

It was unclear late Monday how many vehicles were involved or how many people were injured. Connecticut State Police was handling an investigation.
