UPDATE: Another Multi-Car Crash on Merritt Parkway
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is reporting two crashes in Greenwich.

Greenwich Fire crews are reporting there are four cars involved in a crash on the northbound Merritt Parkway just before Exit 31 at North Street.
There are minor injuries reported and no entrapment, according to emergency radio dispatches.

Greenwich Fire Department crews are responding to the third crash in less than two hours. A five-vehicle pile-up has been reported in the northbound lanes just before Exit 31 at North Street.
It’s not known whether there are any injuries.

Greenwich Fire Department crews reported at 9:05 a.m. cleared the scene of the crash near northbound Exit 31 of the Merritt Parkway at North Street, according to a emergency radio dispatch.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is reporting two separate motor vehicle crashes have caused lane closures in Greenwich Wednesday morning.
The first crash was reported about 8:03 a.m. in the northbound lanes between Exit 29 at Lake Avenue and Exit 31 at North Street, according to the DOT. Both lanes are closed.
A second crash involving an overturned vehicle was reported about 8:07 a.m. in the southbound lanes between Exit 28 at Round Hill Road and Exit 27 at King Street. One lane reportedly is closed.
