Crews Extinguish Fire In Cos Cob: Greenwich Firefighters

Crews extinguished a "working fire" in the Cos Cob area of town, according to Greenwich firefighters.

GREENWICH, CT — Firefighters were able to extinguish a "working fire" in the Cos Cob area of town late Thursday morning.

Crews responded to the fire on Field Road around 11 a.m., according to a post from the firefighters union on social media. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

A short time later, a subsequent post indicated the fire had been extinguished.

The Greenwich Time reports the blaze was a residential fire and no injuries were immediately reported.
