Why are you seeking this office?

It is important that Greenwich residents have a seat at the table in discussions around the issues that impact us like education, the environment, and safety.

What do you believe is the No. 1 issue facing Connecticut, and how do you plan to address it?

Supporting families and growing our economy is the number one issue facing Connecticut. I think we have had some success but need to continue the work to support early education, job training, and creating efficiencies to attract and simplify the process of establishing new business.

There have been an alarming number of deaths on Connecticut's roadways. Is there anything from a legislative standpoint that can be done to address that?

This item was brought to my assigned Committees (Education, Environment, and Higher Education) however this is certainly an opportunity for the legislature to seek a bi-partisan solution based on data.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

In my two years in Hartford I have delivered results. I have sponsored bills to enhanced background checks to keep weapons from bad actors, protected the integrity of our elections, and secured tens of millions in funding for non-profits, local libraries, and our Central Middle School. All this while in 2023 reducing taxes by passing a bi-partisan balanced budget.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As stated earlier, I have sponsored and successfully passed a number of bills important to preserving a high quality of life for our residents. I am proud of my 100% attendance record in both legislative years. My experience and work ethic delivered support to a number of local organizations that are vital to residents in all walks of life.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am endorsed by a number of organizations including, Planned Parenthood Votes, CT Against Gun Violence, Sierra Club, CT League of Conservation Voters, the Uniformed Professional Firefighters Association and CT Realtors.
