Curiosity Concerts Opens its 3rd Season on Saturday
The free concert series for children and their families will feature a performance by the Asylum Quartet.
Curiosity Concerts, a project of the Greenwich Arts Council, will open its third season, on Saturday with a performance by the Asylum Quartet.
Curiosity Concerts is a series of mostly classical music concerts designed for families with children of any age who can enjoy one hour of music.
The Asylum Quartet’s “Saxophone Explorers” program will expose youngsters to the saxophone instrument family with the help of classic works by Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Antonín Dvořák, along with contemporary pieces by Alan Thomas and Lev “Ljova” Zhurbin.

The concert will begin at 2 p.m. Sept. 19 at the YWCA Greenwich, 259 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich.
Admission is free, but reservations required and may be made by logging onto www.CuriosityConcerts.org.

Curiosity Concerts are admission free, professional concerts designed to inspire parents, grandparents, and children of any age, from 5 to 95. They are held at different venues in the Greenwich area.
