Date Set For 5th Annual Greenwich Greet And Treat Event

Over 75 businesses on Greenwich Avenue and its side streets will be part of this year's event.

GREENWICH, CT — The Local Moms Network, the parent company of Greenwich Moms, has announced the return of Greet & Treat, a Halloween extravaganza taking place in the Greenwich Downtown District on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Greenwich Moms is bringing this celebration to the Avenue with trick-or-treating and a fun-filled kid zone. The Greenwich Police Department will also be holding a kid friendly haunted Halloween adventure in front of the police department.

Over 75 businesses on Greenwich Avenue and its side streets will be part of Greet & Treat with special goodies, costume characters, and in-store promotions. Guests will have the chance to meet with local business owners and learn more about what they do along with their trick-or-treating experience.

This year the event will feature two kids zones: one with a touch-a-truck police car/fire truck area, and the second offering a variety of activities including a DJ and bubble show. A number of food trucks will be on site including Dough Girls and Neil’s on Wheels.

"We're thrilled to bring the community together to celebrate with Greet & Treat. It’s really special to help activate the Avenue like this for Halloween, and see all the smiling faces from families and our local business owners," said The Local Moms Network CEO and Greenwich Moms founder Layla Lisiewski in a news release.
