Decorated Greenwich Golfer Captures Townwide Women's Tournament Title
The 2016 Greenwich High School grad is no stranger to the winners' circle.
GREENWICH, CT — Catherine McEvoy, a 2016 graduate of Greenwich High School, won the Greenwich Women’s Townwide Golf Tournament Monday, finishing with a 4-over-par 77, reports the Greenwich Time.
McEvoy won by a commanding nine strokes over second-place finisher Kendyl Nethercott, a former teammate from GHS.
This year was McEvoy's first playing in the popular town tournament, though she has won the Connecticut State Amateur Championship for two straight years, 2015 and 2016.
