Connecticut Weather: Friday's Snow Ends Midday; Potential Nor'easter Looms Next Week
Updated details on when today's snow will end and how much to expect and a "big snowstorm" is possible early next week.

Friday’s snow was a little slow in materializing, but it did finally arrive, and before you know it, it will be gone, and then all eyes turn toward Tuesday into Wednesday when a significant nor’easter may lead to a serious snow accumulation.
Concerning Friday’s storm, the snow was supposed to begin after 2 a.m. and due to “dry air near the ground.” The snow didn’t really start sticking until around 5 a.m. in parts of the state, reports NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan.
WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said no one should cancel their Friday evening plans, because the snow will largely be out of Connecticut by 11 a.m. He also said we need to keep a close eye on a “potential Nor’Easter Tuesday into early Wednesday.”

Hartford and Tolland counties could see up to 3 inches, the weather service states. No estimates have been made concerning Tuesday’s nor’easter as of yet.
