Discover CT Bicycle Tour Series Kicks Off June 6 in West Hartford

Mark your calendars and please join Bike Walk Connecticut for its first Discover Connecticut Bike Tour Series! These rides will be held in various cities and towns in Connecticut and will showcase the best of our state, including beautiful parks, diverse neighborhoods, local businesses and cultural, architectural and scenic highlights.

Our inaugural ride, in partnership with Bike West Hartford, will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 in conjunction with the Celebrate West Hartford festival. Riders can select from 10, 25 and 50 mile routes. The ride can be enjoyed by both new and experienced riders.

After the ride, cyclists can experience the delicious food and entertainment at Celebrate West Hartford, a festival that typically attracts over 30,000 people. Another ride showcasing the City of New Britain will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015. CLICK HERE to register!

• West Hartford Ride options: 10, 25, or 50 mile routes
• Start: Kingswood Oxford School: 170 Kingswood Rd, West Hartford, CT 06119
• Start times are staggered: 8:30am (50 mi riders), 10 am (25 mi riders), 11 am (10 mi riders). These start times are designed to get everyone back around noon to enjoy the festivities at Celebrate West Hartford.
• Parking options: Kingswood Oxford School, Blueback Square Parking Garages: 75 Memorial Rd, WH and 17 Isham Rd, WH 06107; or Town Center Garage: 29 S Main St., WH 06107. Ride to the start if you’re local!

• Members: $40 (after May 23, 2015: $60)
• Nonmembers: $50 (after May 23, 2015: $60)
• Youth 15 and under: $10 (after May 23, 2015: still $10)
