Ducklings Rescued From Catch Basin In Greenwich: Fire Department

The Greenwich Fire Department said it responded to a "unique rescue" on May 2.

GREENWICH, CT — Several ducklings were rescued from a catch basin and reunited with their mother over the weekend, according to the Greenwich Fire Department.

On May 2, Engne 2 responded to River Road for what the department called "a unique rescue."

"Our firefighters quickly went to work and safely reunited the ducklings with their mother," the GFD posted to Facebook, thanking Megan O'Brien for reporting the incident.
