Walk in the Park for Abilis

 


Spend an uplifting Sunday at Greenwich Point Park and help support people of all ages with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities at the seventh annual Walk in the Park for Abilis.


Greenwich children's author Afton Fraser ("Point to Happy") is honorary chairwoman.

Join us for a one-mile walk, stroll or roll at Greenwich's scenic waterfront park. Every walker who raises at least $50 will receive a special-design Abilis Walk in the Park T shirt. For registration or more information, visit www.abilis.us/walk


Family friendly activities begin at 10:30 a.m. with a bounce castle, costumed characters, face-painting and kids crafts, a DJ, and walk-fueling snacks. The Walk begins at noon.

Our seventh-annual Walk will be the best yet, with new food vendors and an Abilis Gifts section, with all-natural soap, bath salts, travel candles, hand-beaded jewelry, tie-dyed T shirts and canvas bags and other products handmade by people with developmental disabilities.
