Eversource To Conduct Aerial Patrol Of Power Lines Thursday

The flyover will allow for an aerial patrol of vegetation on transmission lines, weather permitting.

GREENWICH, CT — According to Greenwich First Selectman Fred Camillo, Eversource will conduct an aerial patrol of transmission lines on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. Patrol will also take place in Stamford, Norwalk, Fairfield, Bridgeport, Easton, Milford, Stratford, Trumbull and Weston.

The flyover will allow for an aerial patrol of vegetation on transmission lines as part of Eversource’s Transmission Vegetation Management program.

Residents who see the flyovers should not be alarmed, Camillo said.

The aircraft being used will either be a blue with silver stripe Bell Jet Ranger with a tag of N1431W, or a blue and white Bell Jet Ranger with a tag of N411DD.
