Extended Hours Announced At Greenwich Tax Collector's Office As Deadline Looms

The Greenwich Tax Collector's Office will have extended hours to help residents meet the looming tax deadline.

GREENWICH, CT —The deadline for first-half real estate, personal property, or motor vehicle taxes is Monday, Aug. 3, after which interest penalties are assessed.

Greenwich will have extended hours at the Tax Collector's Office at Town Hall to help residents meet the looming deadline.

The extended hours will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3.

Payments must be made or postmarked by the end of Aug. 3.

Residents can pay in person at the Tax Collector’s Office, send payment by mail with the envelope included in the bill, and online, including through Apple and Google Pay.
