Extrication Needed In 2-Vehicle Greenwich Crash: Fire Department

GREENWICH, CT — A host of Greenwich firefighters were needed Wednesday afternoon at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on East Putnam Avenue, according to officials.
The driver of one of the vehicles had to be extricated. The extent of any injuries was not immediately available.
Traffic through the area, near Old Church Road, is heavy, but the scene is being cleared, according to Greenwich Emergency Dispatch.
