A Family Concert by Greenwich Singer Caroline Jones
Arch Street is hosting the free family event that will feature winners of a teen song-writing contest.

Greenwich singer and songwriter Caroline Jones will perform at a free community concert at Arch Street, the nation’s longest-running and privately-funded teen center.
Jones, host of Art & Soul on Sirius XM’s Coffee House, will perform Friday, May 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Arch Street, 100 Arch St. Greenwich.
“We hope families throughout the community will join us for this free event to hear a unique and talented artist first hand,” said Kyle Silver, teen center executive director.

During the concert, three winners and one grand-prize winner of “Arch Street Acoustic,” a contest for local teens launched in April, will be selected to perform. Over the last month, teens in seventh through 12th grades living in Fairfield and Westchester counties entered the contest for a chance to be selected to perform a duet with Jones, be featured as a guest performer and interviewee on Art & Soul, receive a guided tour of Sirius XM studios in New York and a professional audio and video recording of their performance.
Jones also is an author and founder of The Heart is Smart Initiative, a curriculum and school tour that provides students a medium of expression through music. Jones has conducted her acoustic, storytelling-based performance, songwriting and vocal performance workshops, and student showcases at schools and universities across the country. She also has performed at Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Café Carlyle, the Russian Tea Room and with notable artists including James Taylor, Deepak Chopra, The Beach Boys, Dave Matthews, Paul Simon, Ani DiFranco, and Ziggy Marley & The Wailers.
