Farricker Has Change Of Heart On 150th District Bid: Report
The Greenwich Democrat considered a petition effort to force a primary for the state House seat.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Democrat Frank Farricker, former chair of the local Democratic Town Committee, has changed his mind and will not seek to petition his way into a primary against fellow Democrat Steve Meskers to run for the state House's 150th District seat, writes the Greenwich Time.
Meskers is the party's endorsed candidate for the 150th District post, which is currently held by incumbent Republican Mike Bocchino. But Farricker considered mounting a petition bid for a primary to land the nomination, and he accused current DTC Chair Tony Turner of allegedly trying to blackmail Farricker out of the race. Farricker tells the publication that he is stepping aside for the sake of party unity.
At issue was a late-May letter Turner wrote to Farricker that brought up potentially problematic allegations against Farrick's business dealings. Turner denies trying to blackmail Farricker, stressing to the Greenwich Time that the letter was misinterpreted.
