Fire Breaks Out At Home Under Construction: Greenwich Fire
The Greenwich Fire Marshal Division is investigating, the fire department said.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Fire Marshal Division is investigating a fire that broke out at a home on Palmer Hill Road early Thursday morning, according to a Facebook post from the fire department.
Greenwich Fire Chief Joseph McHugh told Patch the home was unoccupied at the time. The Greenwich Time reported that the home was undergoing renovations.

Arriving units found heavy fire conditions, and were quickly able to knockdown the flames, the department said. No occupants were found in the home.
Several units from Sound Beach, Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol and Amogerone were all called to the scene.

Palmer Hill Road was closed between Florence Road and Old Orchard Road for a couple hours due to the fire. It reopened shortly after 3 a.m.
The scene was turned over to the Fire Marshal Division for investigation.
