Fire Damages Garden Catering in Greenwich

The Greenwich Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Garden Catering located at 177 Hamilton Ave at 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday.

First arriving units reported a heavy smoke condition throughout the structure with heavy smoke venting from the roof. Units forced entry and were able to contain and extinguish the fire.

Approximately 30 members of the Greenwich Fire Department responded to the incident.

The interior of the building sustained significant heat and smoke damage. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Division.
