Firefighters Battle Structure Fire At Greenwich Home: FD
Crews worked for several hours to extinguish a blaze at an under construction home in Greenwich, according to fire officials.

GREENWICH, CT — Firefighters worked for several hours late Friday night to extinguish a structure fire at an under construction home on Field Point Road.
In a Facebook post, Greenwich Professional Firefighters said crews responded to the area shortly before 11 p.m. and found the under construction house "fully involved in fire." (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
After several hours, crews were ultimately able to bring the blaze under control and prevent the flames from spreading to other homes nearby, fire officials said. Some smoldering fire on the roof of a house on Shore Road was also quickly brought under control, officials said.
