Firefighters Rescue Person Trapped In Car: Greenwich Fire Department

A car crash occurred in the 400 block of East Putnam Avenue in Cos Cob on Tuesday morning.

GREENWICH, CT — On Tuesday morning, fire units were called to the 400 block of East Putnam Avenue in Cos Cob on a report of a car crash with a trapped occupant, according to the Greenwich Fire Department.


First arriving companies stabilized the car and then the trapped person was extricated and handed over to Greenwich Emergency Medical Services, the fire department said. Three engines and two cars responded to the scene.
