Family Displaced, Home Uninhabitable After Fire In Greenwich: FD
UPDATE: Fire officials said about 50 firefighters responded to the house fire in northwest Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — A family was displaced and a home was left "uninhabitable" after a fire broke out on Whitney Drive late Friday morning. Deputy Fire Chief Brian Koczak said about 50 firefighters responded to a single-family, one-story ranch home after the structure caught fire.
Koczak confirmed the fire had been extinguished, however he was unable to say for certain how long it took to put out the blaze. He also said damage to the home was "significant" and a family had been displaced as a result.
The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the incident, however it is "too early" to say what caused the fire, according to Koczak. There were no injuries.
