Foley Hints at Another Possible Gubernatorial Run
During a television interview, the Greenwich Republican reportedly left open the door to running again.

Greenwich Republican Tom Foley is making headlines following an appearance on the WTIC program Real Story this weekend during which he left open the possibility he would run again for governor.
During the Sunday morning interview with WTIC’s Jenn Bernstein and Al Terzi asked Foley if he would make a run again for governor.
According to the report, Foley said, “What I’m going to say is if we did have a recall statute, and the Governor was recalled, and we could have another election, I would definitely run.”

Foley criticized Malloy for reneging on a 2014 campaign promise of no new taxes.
He unsuccessfully ran against Dannel Malloy who was first elected in 2010 and in 2014.
