Food Service Workers' Fight Leads To Arrests At GHS, Cops Say
Two women were arrested in the fracas, according to Greenwich PD.
GREENWICH, CT — A pair of Greenwich High School food service workers were arrested on school grounds Tuesday morning following a fight that had to be broken up by a School Resource Officer, according to police and district officials.
"An altercation between two food service workers at Greenwich High School (GHS) this morning resulted in their arrest," school officials stated in an email to parents Tuesday. "No students were involved or injured. The GHS School Resource Officer intervened immediately to address the situation. There are no further details available at this time. This is an ongoing police investigation."
Officers were called to the school just after 8 a.m. following the report of a fight between the two women.

The fight occurred "in a public place" in the school and "resulted in physical injury to multiple parties." The extent of the injuries was not disclosed.
Arrested were Stamford residents Gina M. Gazard, 51, of Virgil Street, and Tammy E. Caballero, 34, of North Street. Both were charged with two counts of third-degree assault and one count of second-degree breach of peace.

The two were both released on written promises to appear in Stamford Superior Court, Gazard on May 22, and Caballero on May 15.
