Former Bookkeeper Charged With Stealing $892,558: Greenwich PD
Police said a Bedford, N.Y. woman is charged with stealing from her former employer in Greenwich.
GREENWICH, CT — Police said a 64-year-old woman who used to work as a bookkeeper in Greenwich has been charged with stealing $892,558 from her former employers over the course of several years.
According to the arrest report, Darlene Moonan, of Bedford, N.Y., turned herself in to Greenwich Police for an active arrest warrant on Aug. 12.
Moonan was taken into custody and charged with first-degree larceny and first-degree identity theft, the arrest report said, and she was released after posting a $100,000 bond.

Moonan was given a court date of Aug. 27 in Stamford.
Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police Department said Moonan worked for a private family in town.
