Former Greenwich Avenue Retailer Faces Lawsuit Over Back Rent

The Ralph Lauren store on Greenwich Avenue closed in 2017 after eight years on the street.

GREENWICH, CT — Thurles LLC, owner of the Greenwich Avenue building where the Ralph Lauren store was located, is suing the retailer for allegedly not paying about $400,000 in rent, reports the Greenwich Time.

The Greenwich Avenue store closed in the spring of 2017 after eight years. It is being marketed for lease, but currently remains vacant.

According to the lawsuit, the retailer continued to pay the $133,000 per month rent until February of this year, though the company holds the lease for another five years.
