Four Greenwich Homes Targeted by Burglars
Two homes were burglarized; thieves were unable to enter two others, according to Greenwich Police.

Greenwich Police say that burglars have targeted four homes in town in recent weeks — with the latest incident occurring Sunday night while the residents were asleep.
Residents of a home on Indian Chase Drive apparently scared away burglars overnight Sunday, Oct. 26. “The residents were awakened when they heard a noise. They (the residents) called out and they fled,” said police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray. Gray said the would-be burglar “tried to pry through the front door.”
That’s the second incident in that waterfront neighborhood. On Oct. 13, residents of another house returned home and found a broken window. Burglars escaped with an unspecified amount of items, according to police.

In the Glenville area, there also has been a burglary and an attempted burglary.
The attempted burglary reported by the residents of a lower Riversville Road. Sometime overnight between Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25, someone tried to enter the house through a kitchen window. Nearly two weeks earlier, residents of a River West condominium off Glenville Street reported someone broke through the front door and stole a set of wine glasses on Oct. 12, according to Gray.
