Free Narcan Training Being Offered In Greenwich

Participants will learn how to administer Narcan, which can reverse an opioid overdose in a few minutes.​​

GREENWICH, CT — First Congregational Church of Greenwich and The Hub are partnering to offer Naloxone (Narcan) training to the community.

The free in-person, one-hour training session will take place on Oct. 24 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. as the church located at 108 Sound Beach Ave., in Old Greenwich.

Participants will learn how to administer Narcan, which can reverse an opioid overdose in a few minutes. Kaitlin Comet, a program coordinator for The Hub, will provide information on opioids including street drugs like heroin and prescription drugs like Oxycontin.

The Hub is a Behavioral Health Action Organization for Southwestern CT. It is a division of the Regional Youth Adult Social Action Partnership.
