Geese-Chasing Pooch 'Rescued' by Greenwich Marine Police

This cute canine is back home in the warm environs of home, thanks to Greenwich Police.

The way Greenwich Police tell the story on their Facebook page, “This (Tuesday) morning an elderly (Old Greenwich) resident’s dog got away and jumped into water to chase geese. The dog got tired and was sitting on the float. She called for help and one of our Marine Officers waded right in!”

Police said in their post, “I’m not sure you can call that one a “save” but the owner is happy!”

Looks like the pooch was happy as well.
