Great Captain Island Ferry Update
The Islander II ferry vessel remains at the shipyard, the Town of Greenwich said in an update this week.

GREENWICH, CT — The Town of Greenwich has provided an update on the Islander II ferry that experienced a mechanical breakdown last month and interrupted ferry service to Great Captain Island.
"The Islander II is at the shipyard. The vessel that is in the shipyard’s dry dock is nearing completion and should be launched soon. Our boat will be hauled shortly thereafter," the town said in an update Wednesday.
Greenwich provided ferry service to Great Captain Island this morning and afternoon. There will also be service on Monday, July 26, during the following times:

Leaves Arch Street – 12:30 p.m., leaves GCI – 1 p.m
Leaves Arch Street – 3:30 p.m., leaves GCI – 4 p.m.
