Greenwich Advances to American Legion U19 Baseball Regionals

GREENWICH, CT - After a thrilling weekend of edge-of-your-seat ballgames, the Greenwich U19 American Legion baseball team has advanced to the Southern Regional bracket of the state tournament.

Greenwich, the ninth seed, edged East Haven 2-1 in the sectional opener Saturday, then defeated Wallingford 3-1 Sunday to earn a berth in the regionals. They will take on No. 1 Stamford Wednesday.
