Greenwich Appoints New Inlands, Wetlands Director
Patricia Sesto, the environmental affairs director for the Town of Wilton, was unanimously appointed to the post.

The Greenwich Inlands Wetlands and Watercourses Agency has voted unanimously to appoint Patricia Sesto as the agency’s new director, effective June 1.
Sesto, who has been the Director of Environmental Affairs for the Town of Wilton since 1992, was selected Monday night after a search process that included several highly qualified candidates, according to an announcement from the agency.
Sesto has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Eastern Connecticut State University. She will be replacing Michael Chambers, who resigned as director in March.

Wetlands Agency Chairman, Brian Harris said in a statement, “The Town of Greenwich is fortunate to have the finest professional staff of any Wetlands Agency in the state and we are thrilled to welcome Patricia Sesto as our new Director. Patricia’s extensive technical experience, her standing in the professional community, and the management skills she has developed during her tenure with the Town of Wilton will greatly benefit the Agency and further strengthen our ability to serve the community.”
