Greenwich Appoints Purchasing Director

Charles Zsebik was appointed to the position. His most recent experience comes from Siksorsky Aircraft.

GREENWICH, CT- First Selectman Peter Tesei announced that Charles Zsebik was appointed director of purchasing and administrative services for the town.

The Board of Selectman unanimously voted March 24 to appoint Zsebik to the position.

"The interviewing panel found his experience as well as his communication style would be a great addition to the Town's management team and would best meet the needs and responsibilities required for the Director of Purchasing and Administrative Services in Greenwich," Tesei said in a statement.

An extensive search gathered a pool of 19 applicants. Zsebik has experience in purchasing over various industries for the past 20 years.

He will begin April 4 and will be paid $142,000 per year.

Zsebik is currently a senior analyst purchasing for Sikorsky Aircraft and has implemented several multi-million dollar contracts.
