The Greenwich Art Society Is Now Offering Landscape Painting Classes

The Greenwich Art Society presents:

NEW! BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE LANDSCAPE PAINTING (IN PERSON)
with JOE FAMA

July 7 through Aug. 25
10:00AM to 12:00 pm

Students will take their own photos as a point of inspiration to create their own interpretation rather than a copy. From their photos, students will produce a value sketch to learn how to SEE the values. The value sketch will be the guide for the painting. They will also learn how to set up a palette for landscape painting. Students will learn to see and express color, values, and the illusion of depth. Classes will include lectures, demonstrations, as well as individual instruction. Open to all but some drawing or painting experience is recommended.

This class will be held in the G.A.S. studio with physical distance zones and all CDC precautions. Max. 8 students.
