This course explores some of the most famous and treasure filled museums in the world including the unparalleled collection of the Louvre, the Dutch Golden Age at The Rijksmuseum, the Renaissance masters at the Uffizi Gallery, and the cultural treasures of the British Museum. Also the Spanish masters at the Prado and of course, NYC’s most wonderful landmark: the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Instructor

Sue Altman is an artist, art instructor and art historian who lectures and teaches widely throughout the tristate area. Her subjects include exhibitions currently showing in the NY area, museums in the US and around the world, explorations of important art movements etc. She has a painting studio in Ossining NY and shows her work frequently.
