Greenwich Avenue Restaurants Support Greenwich United Way and Local Human Service Needs
Eastend, Mediterraneo of Greenwich and Terra Restaurant host Week of Caring April 24 - 30, 2017

Greenwich United Way will partner with Z Hospitality (zhospitalitygroup.com) again this year during the annual Week of Caring. Z Hospitality has hosted the fundraising promotion in Greenwich since 2006 and has raised more than $25,000 for the Greenwich United Way Annual Campaign. "The Greenwich United Way is an immensely important local organization that facilitates solutions for those most in need" said Adam Zakka, Partner at Z Hospitality. He continued, "We are honored to have the opportunity to help ensure these local human service needs are met. We are committed to ensuring we foster an environment where all citizens of Greenwich can succeed. By hosting the Week of Caring, we hope to make this a reality".
Greenwich United Way is the only organization in Greenwich that identifies unmet human service needs through comprehensive research and collective insights then raises awareness to support those needs. The organization's mission is to achieve measurable and sustainable results through planning, fundraising and efficient investment in the community.
"The deadline to reach our Annual Campaign goal is June 30 and it's important that we acknowledge Z Hospitality again this year for bringing us closer to reaching that goal" said David Rabin, CEO at Greenwich United Way. He continued, "A portion of proceeds from patrons dining at Terra, Mediterraneo or Eastend during the last week of April will help Greenwich United Way ensure that critical human service needs are met and the programs that need support continue to receive funding. Last year we identified almost 12,000 people that live just above, at or below the poverty line and these families need our help. Those who aren't able to dine at these great restaurants can still support by making a donation directly to Greenwich United Way before our Annual Campaign deadline."
