Greenwich-Based Camuto Group Ends Merger Deal: Report
The company was founded in 2001 by the late Vince Camuto, former CEO of Nine West.
GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich-based shoe and accessories company Camuto Group has ended merger talks with Canadian shoe company Aldo Group, reports the Greenwich Time.
The two announced in August that they planned to merge, and while that deal has now been scuttled, the two said they will continue to work together.
Camuto Group was founded in 2001 by the late Vince Camuto, former CEO of Nine West. His widow, Louise Camuto, remains as chief creative officer and director of marketing.
