Greenwich To Begin Preparations For Outdoor Dining

GREENWICH, CT — With unseasonable temperatures already here and spring getting closer and closer, Greenwich is beginning to prepare for another season of outdoor dining.
Dining al fresco has become a mainstay in Greenwich since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020.
On Feb. 23, the Board of Selectmen will discuss outdoor dining and receive a presentation from Town Administrator Ben Branyan on proposed guidelines that will allow restaurants to seat people outside while still allowing traffic to flow smoothly on Greenwich Avenue, First Selectman Fred Camillo said in his weekly newsletter on Friday.

The public is invited to attend the meeting. Camillo said there will be time for public comment from those in person and watching online.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., from the Cone Room on the second floor of Town Hall. It will be broadcast via YouTube and Zoom.
