Greenwich To Begin Updating Parking Ordinances
The town's Board of Selectmen, in its capacity as the Greenwich Traffic Authority, is slated to start the process this week.

GREENWICH, CT — The town's parking regulations are "badly out of date and need nearly complete revision," according Greenwich Police Capt. Mark Kordick, interim director of the Department of Parking Services, a move the Board of Selectmen are slated to begin discussing this week.
Acting in its capacity as the town's Traffic Authority, the board is scheduled to begin discussing with Kordick what changes are needed for the parking code on Thursday morning, Jan. 11, during a Selectmen's meeting in Town Hall.
No time frame was given as to how the process might play out for the complete revision, but in the meantime the board will consider some changes to the regulations pertaining to handicapped parking; Hillside Road parking; Sound Beach Avenue parking; and Steamboat Road parking.
