Greenwich Boy Scouts Complete Intense 12-Day New Mexico Hike

The group hiked part of the Rocky Mountains.

GREENWICH, CT—Boy Scouts from Greenwich have successfully completed a 12-day hike through New Mexico mountains.

Scouts from Troops 5, 9 and 10 hiked the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of the Rocky Mountains, according to Greenwich Free Press.

Scouts from across the world go to the Philmont Scout Ranch to test advanced outdoor skills.

Most of that time is off the grid. The group only got cell signal three times in the 12 days.
