Greenwich Business Goes From Bricks-And-Mortar To Online: Report

GREENWICH, CT — Darlene’s Heavenly Desires, an Old Greenwich sweets shop, is closing up its bricks-and-mortar location and will become an online-only enterprise, report the Greenwich Time.

Isabel Ballesteros took over the Sound Beach Avenue shop in 2014, and is now offering her signature chocolates and other sweets through www.darlenesstore.com or by email at darlensoldgreenwich@gmail.com.

Loyal customers convinced her to take the business online instead of closing entirely, and under the new business model the shop offers free delivery within Greenwich.
