The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The Board of Education's lack of fiscal accountability. I plan to hold stakeholders responsible for their financial decisions and expenditures.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

As a woman of color, I understand and represent the interests of those who often have no voice within our community.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

My primary issues are the availability of middle income housing and the disparity in the school system regarding resources. There is an economic differential between the city and suburban schools. This has led to a difference in the availability and quality of their after school programs. This is illustrated by the poor access to these programs, afforded in schools such as Julian Curtiss, New Lebanon and Hamilton Avenue. My mandate is to eliminate this grievous disparity within our community.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I am engaged with the community, and as a longtime resident, having raised two children here, I know what the issues are and how to resolve them.

The best advice ever shared with me was...

"Inspect what you expect." The allocation of resources within our town is a serious matter and it is imperative that we maximize each and every expenditure for the good of the community.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I have spent over ten years campaigning for Democratic representation in Greenwich, as well as across the state of Connecticut, all in pursuit of fairness equity and in support of just causes.
