This is a chance to engage in a respectful, productive dialogue with the GPD, committee Chair Peter Bernstein said in a news release. This is a critical part of the outreach the committee is doing to make sure there is a way for members of the public to connect with their police department and build lasting partnerships within the community.
The intention is to do these kinds of roundtables on a quarterly basis going forward and ensure there is a strong dialogue going back and forth with the community.

"The Greenwich Police Department takes the motto of 'to protect and serve' very seriously and this is a chance for all sides to talk and listen," Bernstein said in a news release. "The committee encourages residents to attend and engage in a dialogue. The committee’s goal, since its founding in 2021, has been to increase both accountability and transparency and this roundtable is an important first step. We hope to see a good turnout for the first of these events."
